Welcome to Valencia C.F. Pre-Season Training for Nationals Soccer Club
Valencia CF is excited to come to Michigan to give you the unique opportunity to enjoy professional training with Spanish coaches from one of the most important youth academies in the world. We will follow the same methodology that is applied every day with future soccer stars at the Valencia CF Academy.

Training
The pre-season camp brings coaches from the Valencia CF Academy who will share and apply the club’s work methodology to the players on Nationals’ top-tier teams. The goal is to observe an evolution over the course of the five days and prepare players and teams for their upcoming seasons.
Valencia CF’s methodology is based on three fundamental pillars:
- Development of personal autonomy/personal growth.
- Technical skills and abilities necessary for competitive play.
- Imparting a sense of “Valencianismo” through shared values of the most significant players in the club’s history.
The training sessions also serve as a recruitment opportunity for the Valencia CF academy.
Valencia CF kit
All registered players will receive a complete Valencia CF training kit. It will consist of a shirt, shorts and training socks, from Puma, the club’s current equipment partner.
In addition to the training kit there will be other surprises in each player’s bag.

Facilities
The camp will take place at the Oakland University soccer fields.
We are working with Nationals staff to develop a contingency plan for fields should we be faced with inclement weather for the week.
We will confirm this information and other details in an email that will be sent to you in the weeks prior to the start of the camp.

Best coaches
Valencia CF coaches will come specifically to apply their training methodology to the Nationals youngsters. With the aim of carrying out professional training, with the same method that has created world-class soccer players.
Closing Ceremony
On the last day we will organize exhibition matches, which will be open for family and friends to attend, a special moment for all participants.
We want to close out the week with some great memories as you get ready to start your season. We will deliver diplomas during a brief awards ceremony and, perhaps the most anticipated part for many, we will draw names for official, match-worn Valencia CF jerseys and other gear.
